Sexuality, nature, cosmology, consumerism, pop culture, mutation, and anthropomorphism combine in colorful scenarios involving rotund hybrid figures, desire, and angst. Villegas’ work is multidisciplinary, including ceramics, sculpture, painting, drawing, fabric collage, and installations.
